Project: Official Promotional Poster for the 2023/2024 Policy and Budget Speech
Overview of the work:
We were commissioned to create a polished and professional promotional poster to announce the Policy and Budget Speech delivered by MEC Ntombovuyo Nkopane of the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. The brief required a design that would effectively communicate key event details while reflecting the formal tone and official branding of the Eastern Cape Provincial Government.The final design centres on a high-quality circular portrait of MEC Nkopane set against a clean green backdrop, paired with bold typography for the main title “Policy & Budget Speech 2023 / 2024 Financial Year.” Clear visual hierarchy was established for the essential information — the date (28 March 2023), time (10H00), and venue (Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature) — using iconography for quick readability. Supporting elements include livestreaming details, social media handles, and the official logos of the Province of the Eastern Cape and related government entities.The overall aesthetic is formal yet approachable, balancing strong institutional colours with modern layout principles to ensure the poster works effectively both in print and digital formats. This piece demonstrates our ability to deliver clear, on-brand government communication materials that support public engagement and official event promotion.
