Project: Large-format outdoor banner and matching pull-up banner for Human Resource Development / Skills Development Programmes
Overview of the work:
We were commissioned to design a set of professional outdoor banners for the Eastern Cape Department of Health to promote their Human Resource Development and Skills Development Programmes. The brief required visually impactful, on-brand materials that would clearly communicate the wide range of training opportunities available while reflecting the department’s commitment to strengthening the provincial health system.The primary large banner features the official Eastern Cape Health branding and coat of arms at the top, paired with a dynamic green-toned photographic collage of healthcare professionals at work. A bold yellow band highlights the headline “Skills Development Programmes Featuring,” followed by well-organised lists of Generic Internship Programmes, Learnership Programmes, and Artisan Development Programmes. Supporting contact details, the NDP logo, and the departmental tagline “Together, moving the health system forward” complete the design.A matching vertical pull-up banner was created to provide more detailed information on Health Professionals’ Training and Development opportunities, including nursing programmes, emergency care services, and various internship and learnership pathways. Both pieces maintain consistent use of the department’s green-and-yellow colour palette, official logos, and clear typography to ensure strong visual cohesion and easy readability in outdoor settings.The final designs effectively combine strong institutional branding with practical programme information, making them suitable for career expos, hospital campuses, and public health events.
